当前学术图书馆馆员扮演的角色面临着史无前例的挑战,如何管理图书馆馆藏,如何与教研人员学术互动。馆员们需要具备专业技术及个人技能,并运用各种方式与学术界及出版业界沟通。在全球性经济衰退的当下,毫无疑问,图书馆界未来充满着挑战及机遇。时移势易,求新思变,正如会议标题「风雨唱咏」,新一代学术图书馆馆员应抱持一种乐观进取、积极向上及审慎的态度面向未来,任重而道远。
第二届学术图书馆馆员国际会议在香港理工大学举行,报告的重点为讨论学术图书馆馆员的技能及定位、图书馆的影响力、图书馆架构模式、以及图书馆对其大学及读者的价值。

第二届学术图书馆馆员国际会议在香港理工大学举行,报告的重点为讨论学术图书馆馆员的技能及定位、图书馆的影响力、图书馆架构模式、以及图书馆对其大学及读者的价值。
现诚邀各图书馆员和信息业专业人员,就会议的四项主要议题赐稿。
