    第二届浅海声学国际学术会议（2nd International conference on shallow water acoustics）该会议是由美国海军研究院（ONR）和中国科学院发起组织，并得到了中国声学学会、美国声学学会以及中国自然科学基金委的大力支持，该会议将于2009年4月13日—17日在上海举办。该会议的主题着重于浅海水声学方面的研究，包括声传播模型和混响模型、水体变化对声场的影响、地声、海面对声场的影响、环境噪声以及实验新技术与新设备等方面的内容。

 The conference will emphasize the following in shallow-water acoustics:
 Acoustic propagation and reverberation models
Eects of water column variability on acoustics due to:
  physical structures (internalwaves,fronts, turbulence, …)   
  turbulen biologics (sh, plankton, … )
  tomography and assimilation
* Seaoor acoustic interaction including:
  sediment acoustics
  geo-acoustic models and inversion
* Sea-surface acoustic interaction
  (e.g., scattering from bubbles and rough surfaces)
* Ambient noise
  Field characteristics in the (shallow-water) sound waveguide
* Experimental techniques and instrumentation
