● 会议背景介绍：    

INTERRAD XII （12th Meeting of the International Association of Radiolarian Paleontologists）will be held in the newly built "Nanjing Museum of Palaeontology" at Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, within walking distance from downtown Nanjing. A series of scientific sessions including plenary and special sessions, and special group meetings, in addition to pre-, post-conference and mid-conference field excursions will be organized. Social events and programs will also be arranged. 

● 征文范围及要求：

Some thematic sessions and workshops are outlined below. However, we welcome further suggestions for alternative or additional themes to the formal sessions or workshops. Each formal session will invite co-conveners and chairpersons to assist in assembling an attractive program. You are welcome to recommend conveners and chairpersons for the formal sessions.

1. Modern radiolarian biology and distribution
2. Radiolarians and paleogeography, paleoclimatology and paleoecology
3. Radiolarians and significant biostratigraphic boundaries
4. Radiolarians applied to structural and tectonic problems
5. Radiolarian biostratigraphy and deep-sea sedimentary facies
6. New advances in radiolarian taxonomy, phylogenetics and systematics
