上海杂技团成立于1951年，是中 国著名的大型马戏、杂技表演团体。演员阵容齐整豪华，节目品种新颖独特，表演风 格惊险优美。在历届全国比赛中屡获殊荣；在法国“明日”杂技赛场及摩纳哥蒙特卡 洛杂技节上均获各类奖项。上海杂技团曾组织一百多批队伍出访美国、、加拿大、德 国、西班牙、澳大利亚、马来西亚、泰国、韩国、日本、新加坡、印度尼西亚、香港 、澳门等国家和地区。半个世纪以来，征服了五大洲的亿万观众，名扬四海。

2005年上海杂技团在上海商城剧院隆重上演了一台以“秋日”、“月影”、“流霞” 三个板块演绎浦江时事变迁的、具有浓郁上海情怀的杂技晚会——《浦江情》。“乡 宴”、“爱恋”诉说着昨日的故事。酒吧杂耍在休闲中体现了都市的无限魅力。 “台圈”、变幻魔术等喻示着城市的飞速发展。其中《抖轿子》、《绸吊》、《排椅 》等节目曾荣获中国杂技比赛的最高奖项。

Since its foundation in 1951, Shanghai Acrobatic Troupe ha s grown into a world-cla ss circus & acrobatic troupe of high reputation with its well-trained ca st of super talents plus its full range of programs. What makes the troupe proud is that it ha s won numerous top awards both in national & international circus competitions such a s China National Acrobatic Competition, Festival Mondial du Cirque Demain in Paris & the International Circus Festival in Monte Carlo. Moreover, it ha s enjoyed popularity over the pa st years when making more than 100 tours in U.S.A., Canada, Germany, Spain, Australia, Malaysia, Thail&, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, etc.

Huangpu River Sensation, a production with strong Shanghai features, wa s presented by Shanghai Acrobatic Troupe in 2005 at Shanghai Center Theater. The program consists of 3 parts-- “Autumn Day”, “Moon Reflection” & “ Rosy Clouds”-- showing the vicissitudes of Shanghai: “Gr& Fea st” & “Lovers at the Bund” tell the story of yesterday; “Juggler in the Bar” reflects the charm of today; “Hoop Diving” & “Magic Illusion” predict the development of tomorrow. Some acts such a s “Play Dooly”, “Silk Stripes” & “Pyramid of Chairs ” are the “Gold Lion Award” winners at China National Acrobatic Competitions.
