A Nostalgic Fant y about the  lden Days of Cinema 

Hong Kong new wave choreographer Noel Pong is renowned for her wickedly funny observation of human behavior in everyday situations. In Off Screen, she h   d a nostalgic fant y about the  lden days of cinema from Charlie Chaplin to Fred  taire & Ginger Rogers in the cheap seats of  od-old movie theaters. She makes acute observations of the film audience, capturing their emotions   whimsically playing out off-the-screen dram  that are at times humorous, at times melancholic. Off Screen demonstrates Noel's sense of deadpan humor   her sensitivity towards the delicate comic tension of the dancers' personalities (both in real life   on stage). A tour de-force performance by Hong Kong modern dance flagship —— City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC).
