The 8th International Conference on Optical Communications and Networks (ICOCN 2009) invites high-quality recent research results in the areas of optical devices, components, communications, transmission, network architectures, protocols, design, management and operation. The main goal of the conference is to bring together academics, scientists, professionals, engineers and industrialists who work in the field of optical communications and networks and to foster the exchange of information, ideas and experiences among them in this fast-moving and exciting field. ICOCN has been held annually in Asia-Pacific region since 2002. We look forward to your participation to make this conference a success. All tutorial are arranged on 14 July 2009. 

● 征文范围及要求：

All industry submissions will NOT be peer reviewed. Accepted submission would not be published in the conference proceedings nor indexed. Participant will need to submit a short write up of no more than 500 words. Please state clearly:

The title of the presentation
Attached a short resume of the presenter along with the submission
Provide a submission of not more than 500 words
Submissions deadline for all industrial papers is 6 March 2009. Submissions should be sent to icocn@lightwavetech.org
