    第二届信息学与计算进展国际会议（the 2nd International Conference on Progress in Informatics and Computing，PIC-2014，http://pic.sjtu.edu.cn) 将于2014年5月16日-18日召开，会议组委会诚挚地邀请您投稿，投稿截止日期2014年2月10日。论文要求用英文撰写。
    本次会议由上海交通大学、东华大学联合举办，由IEEE提供技术支持。会议论文集将由IEEE正式出版，会后将提交进入IEEE Xplore数据库，并提交EI Compendex 检索。 会议将选出若干优秀论文，经过扩充之后，发表在相关SCI和EI 检索的国际期刊上。
    会议期间还将遴选出部分大会最佳论文，颁发最佳论文证书。（注：第一届PIC会议PIC-2010论文集全部论文均已被EI检索）。
征文范围: 信息科学，计算机科学, 软件工程, 信息管理。（详细征文范围参见会议网站）。

　　Let me kindly inform you that the 2nd International Conference on Progress in Informatics and Computing (PIC-2014, http://pic.sjtu.edu.cn) will be held in Shanghai, China, May 16-18, 2014. The steering committee cordially invites you to submit a paper to the PIC-2014 Conference. The deadline for paper submission is scheduled for Feb 10, 2014. Your submissions should be written in English.
　　The conference is sponsored by the IEEE society, co-organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Donghua University. All accepted papers will be published in the IEEE categorized conference proceedings and will be submitted to EI Compendex, as well as IEEE Xplore. Substantially extended versions of good papers will be recommended for publication in several international SCI and EI indexed journals. Best paper awards will be distributed during the conference.
